very useful home video cam

The front doors to my house utilize pocket doors. The SwitchBot was my only option to automate. The end result worked out very well.

This device offers a complete set of features one may wish for in their indoor camera.

This is perfect to put in our toddlers room. We just went thru a toddler bed transition and I mounted this to the ceiling so she couldn’t mess with it at night. So far so good and the quality of the video is good.

After having a hardwired surveillance system for years, I started having problems with their app and hardware so decided to switch to wireless. SwitchBot had 2K cameras that I could easily install and setup. I started with one that I could pan our living room when we traveled. I have since added two more so that each one focuses on the doors in our house. You may not be able to stop an intruder but with motion detection turned on you will be alerted so you can contact law enforcement. I added a card to each of the cameras so I could look at recordings easily on my phone. They offer cloud recording for a fee but with a storage card I haven’t had the need. The cameras are much better than my hardwired ones. The app has a lot of features that make use and monitoring much easier than the hardwired system. Very happy with this product.

Connects quickly and gives a great sharp image. The alert siren is quite loud and would scare off an intruder.

The quality of the image and the ability to tilt the camera are two of my favorite things. It’s night vision is very good too. You’ll need a memory card to be able to store images for a long amount of time. I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor. My cats are triggering it all of the time. If there is a possibility to adjust the trigger based on the size of the moving subject and only detect humans, that would make it perfect for me. There is no benefit of using it with google home at this point as the feed does not show on there and you can’t set run scenes there either. The switch bit app is the only place to really access these cameras. Overall, we have two and loved having them to keep an eye on our cats while away. Fixing the two things - adjusting the sensitivity of motion detector and making it usable with google home like all of the other SwitchBot products in our home - would make it a irreplaceable.

This camera is one for eh clearest cameras we have in our home. Also the pan and tilt feature is nice to have.
