I’m obsessed with these! I have 8 of them scattered about. I watch the temp of my backyard (far more accurate than a weather app), my garage, my refrigerator, freezer, basement, my keg fridge, and I even took one camping to see how cold it was in the tent! I wish there was a submersible model to track pool and river temp and maybe even bathtub temp before getting in. The trend graphs and data logging feature is really great to see temperature cycles. I can’t stop finding uses for them - maybe I’ll keep one in my cooler to track whether the ice is still doing its job!

You'll find 2 AAA batteries inside the SwitchBot Outdoor Meter, which can be used for approximately 1 year (Panasonic batteries are recommended). While the SwitchBot Outdoor Meter can measure temperatures down to -20°C, it is recommended that the SwitchBot Outdoor Meter be used at temperatures between -10°C and 60°C, as the life of your device may be shortened if used in extreme environments. Depending on the temperature and the frequency of data readings, service life may also be shortened.
