Good product.
Fitted out my whole house with these leak detectors. Easy to install and connect to my WiFi network. Now I have the ability to be alerted when I am away from the house should a leak occur. Very affordable option.
I hope it works, it looks ok.
The cable could be removable, because it is not used everywhere.
Installed 2x leak detector in bilge pumps of boat. It is also a water level detector. Easy to install.
The SwitchBot Water Leak Detector works perfect
It just works. I like the way it can be viewed from anywhere in the world. It can be set to silent and to send emails if a leak is detected. Brilliant. And cheap too.
These leaks sensors are easy to set up and seem to support a flexible combination of audio and push notification alerts. However, I bought them with the assumption that they would integrate into my Apple home environment as well as the SwitchBot Curtain (which I am very happy with). Even though they are new device, they do not integrate into the SwitchBot hub for integration into the Apple world.
This is a cloud only device. That makes it feel pretty primitive, and it reveals a sort of inconsistent product line at SwitchBot.. I am giving it four stars because they are very inexpensive (which I’m sure explains the limitations).
